Mt. Kitangklad Range Natural Park- (MKNRP) has a unique ecological diversity characterized by a combination and interplay of human communities, connected landscapes, immense natural diversity of its flora and fauna, and its contribution to national economy and heritage. All these features have secured the mountain range's future as a protected area under the natural park category and governed through specific conservation and management objectives. From the plains of the municipality , one can have a view of the spectacular ranges of Mt. kitanglad which are destination for mountaineers and hikers. Del Monte Golf Course – established in 1928 ; a private club located within the pineapple plantation which was formerly Intended for Del Monte’s expatriates. This 18-hole, 6,390-yard par 72 golf course’s first nine holes were designed by Peter Crawford and the second nine by Celestino Tugot. The world renowned Del Monte Golf Course was once a private playground of the high society of Manila. Even Former Ferdinand E. Marcos would just fly here to have an afternoon round of golf. Now it is the home of the International Golfer, Frankie Miñoza. It has been religiously greened to fully cater to its clientele both local and foreign. Artesian Well – In early 1930’s,residents of Barrio Tankulan used this well as source of water. The Barrio Officials under the leadership of Presidente del Barrio Mateo Gumaling started the construction of this well. It was during the World War II that the American Soldiers drew water from this well. Old Mangima Bridge – Strategically blown up by the guerrillas led by Captain Ramon M. Onahon to sabotage the movement of supplies and reinforcements of the Japanese army to central Mindanao. Gen. Douglas Mac Arthur LandMark – Built by the Rotary Club of Northern Bukidnon. The memorial landmark is 85 meters wide and 3.5 km long. The barangays of Sto. Nino and Dicklum were one location of a large airfield of the US Army Air Corps before World War II. It was said that when Gen. Douglas Mac Arthur left Corregidor Island flee from invading Japanese Imperial forces during the war, he landed in an area which is now presently Puerto, Bugo- now part of Cagayn de Oro. Japanese Stone Marker – marks the graves of high-ranking Japanese officials killed during World War II. The elliptical one foot by two-foot stone bears two inscriptions, which translated means “On this spot died Miyazaki Yoshitoi, Chief of Army” and “Emperor Chiao.” In memory of Kaji Battalion, May 8, 1942. Del Monte Pineapple Plantation –one of the largest in the world and the biggest in the Far East. It covers the towns of Manolo Fortich (45.4 sq. kms.), Libona, Impasgong and Sumilao and is located on several small tablelands of the Bukidnon plateau at an elevation ranging from 1,600 ft. (488 m.) to 2,200 ft. (670 m.). The plantation was started in 1926 on an experimental scale by the Philippine Packing Corporation (a subsidiary of California Packing Corporation) and operates a lease on 20,000 acres. Its relatively fertile soils are planted to excellent Smooth Cayenne pineapple which has the same qualities of pineapple grown in Hawaii, U.S.A. Its focal point is Camp Philips, Agusan Canyon, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon located 34 kms. from Cagayan de Oro City. DMPI is currently the largest employer and taxpayer in the municipality
